Apple’s iPOD new 4G-The thinnest in the world



Apple released finally it’s much awaited 4th Generation iPOD Nano into the market. They claimed that this is the thinnest iPOD in the world and only weighs 36.8 g. That’s the fantastic news you guys. Doesn’t It.?

It is measuring a Size 0, 6.2mm thick. There's a new user interface, a high resolution portrait display and a built-in accelerometer which automatically switches to Cover Flow when rotated and goes into Shuffle mode when shaken. Inside is Apple's Genius technology, which creates playlists from songs in your library that 'go together' with a single click.

The new 8GB and 16GB nanos are good for a claimed 24 hours of music playback and 4 hours of video and they are shipping in silver, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, (PRODUCT) RED and black. Shipping now, they cost £109 for the 8GB model and £149 for the 16GB one according to the Apple’s official website.

The company also revealed four new coloured Shuffles and a slimline iPod classic with double the storage at 120GB for the same price of £179

"The iPod nano is the world's most popular music player and we've made it even better for this holiday season," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We think users are going to love the amazing new design, the automatic Genius playlist creation, as well as automatically going into Cover Flow with just a turn of the wrist."
